Applied Driving Techniques (ADT), the leading provider of fleet compliance and risk management solutions, has appointed Martin Hill as Head of Global Consultancy. The newly-created role will enable ADT to take advantage of opportunities within the international fleet sector, which has already resulted in the company expanding into 37 countries worldwide.

Hill will bring extensive experience in the fleet and leasing industry to the position having spent many years working in senior management roles at Lex Autolease and more recently Fleet Logistics. Using this expertise, he will work with existing multi-national clients that are looking to integrate fleet-related health, safety, security and environment (HSSE) standards and compliance policies worldwide. Hill will also be tasked with growing ADT’s international customer base as part of its global business development strategy.

“A managed risk and compliance solution is becoming increasingly more important for international fleet operators, so I am looking forward to working alongside the ADT team and using my extensive experience to support the development of the business,” commented Martin Hill. “ADT’s products and services are extremely professional and a perfect fit for an organisation’s global footprint across any combination of fleet drivers.”

And Phillips, Director of Applied Driving Techniques said: “This latest appointment will help us deliver unrivalled fleet compliance and achieve highest levels of duty of care for our customers, whatever countries or regions they operate in. Martin brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will further strengthen our international capabilities and make a valuable contribution to our growth strategy moving forward.”

ADT has also launched the latest version of its web-based customer portal in nine languages to better meet the needs of country-specific fleet operations. Riskmapp brings together the company’s core offering and provides instant access to essential fleet data, analysis and documentation online from any country or region. This includes full online visibility and control of risk audits and assessments, grey fleet management and document monitoring.
