Thunder delivers powerful 360- degree surround sound audio experience

Thunder uses unique vibration resonance technology to turn any solid surface into a 360-degree, omni-directional speaker, providing incredible sound quality and levels of bass. The compact Bluetooth device, the first of a new range of speakers set to be launched in the UK by Cowin, achieves powerful acoustics as well as offering endless enjoyment exploring the effect of different surfaces, objects and furniture on your favourite music.

Thunder works on all kinds of surfaces (wood, glass and plastic) and any type of furniture (shelves, tables, chairs and cabinets), radiating sound in all directions and turning any area of the home into an ideal listening venue. Temporary and permanent mounting docks will also be available, so the speaker becomes easily mountable on any vertical surface such as walls, windows and doors.

Thunder possesses 15 watts of compact audio power along with impressive resonating capability to fill a space with additional layers of sound. Meanwhile, the sleek punched aluminium casing provides an aesthetic and robust design that is ideal for any room, and the rechargeable, lithium battery makes it a highly flexible and portable.

Thunder can be paired with a wide selection of smartphones, tablets, notebooks and laptops and operated using simple touch-key controls or wirelessly from the Bluetooth-enabled device (10-metre range). It is also equipped with Near Field Communication technology, so connecting can be as easy as touching the speaker with a phone or media device, while it is possible to make or receive calls using a built-in handsfree feature.

James Feng at Cowin Europe commented: “Thunder brings a new dimension to your music, turning any surface into a powerful speaker. Cowin is the largest developer of vibration technology globally, so we have used this expertise to create a true hi-fi experience in a very compact Bluetooth device that meets the precise audio requirements of music lovers.”

Thunder will be available from 1st May for just £89.99 from www.cowinmusic.com.
