Ecoserv Group, the multi-discipline facilities management (FM) company, has been recognised for its commitment to sustainability at the Green Apple Awards 2021. The company was a bronze winner for environmental best practise at a prestigious presentation ceremony in London, which celebrated the greenest individuals, companies, councils and communities within the UK.

Ecoserv Group was amongst more than 800 entries in this year’s Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice. The company was selected based on its success measuring, monitoring and reducing waste and carbon footprint, as well as efforts to support and consult customers on sustainability to help reduce the environmental impact of FM operations.

Sally-Ann van Blerk, Group Sustainability & Brand Director at Ecoserv Group commented: “This is fantastic recognition for all the hard work that is taking place within the business to drive our environmental, social and community goals. Having been an eco-engaged company since 1993, we are on an ambitious journey towards net zero and want to lead the way in sustainability within the FM marketplace. We look forward to working with The Green Organisation moving forward to share and celebrate environmental best practice.”

Launched in 1994, The Green Apple Awards are organised by The Green Organisation - an independent, non-political, non-profit environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice both in the UK and internationally. The awards are supported by the Environment Agency, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, the Chartered Institution for Wastes Management, REHIS and other independent bodies.
